16/09/2017 - Helping the Elderly with Miss Malawi

The distribution of food and non food items took place as a result of the request by current "Miss Malawi" to support the elderly in Thyolo district. The recipients were all smiles for the kind donation as most of them had their maize fields destroyed by stalk borers in the last rain-fed growing season.

Handover of Bicycle Ambulance in Malawi

Handover of a bicycle ambulances at Makoloma in Mulanje district and Thunga in Thyolo dstrict, Malawi. The recipient community is very grateful for the ambulance which has been kindly donated to us by Malawi Relief Fund-UK. The ambulance is expected to serve over 2500 people according to the government official from the District Health Office.

Dedza and Ntcheu Hunger Crisis

13/02/2017 - Food Distribution in Chikwakwa

Food Parcels in Mulanje and Phalombe Districts

Food parcels and sanitary materials were distributed to a district hospital in Mulanje and five primary schools in Phalombe districts.

Mulanje District Hospital is struggling to provide food to patients who are admitted to the hospital due to inadequate funding. Gift of the Givers has donated 1,500kg of Maize Meal as well as 2,500 packets of Soy chunks relish.

Primary Health Clinics

Agricultural Inputs

Farmers packs containing essential agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers and basic tools are distributed to subsistence farmers in rural areas to help them achieve enough food for their families. Nutritional Supplement Support

Mosquito Nets

The New Zambezi Evangelical Hospital

Gift of the Givers donates 40 blankets and 40 sets of bed sheets to a newly established Zambezi Evangelical Hospital in Blantyre. Construction of Irrigation Facilities

Gift of the Givers signed a Grant Agreement with the Embassy of Japan amounting to R1.08 Million for implementation of the Project for “Improvement of Agriculture Production through Construction of Irrigation Facilities” in two areas in Blantyre and Chiradzulu Districts, respectively.

Tree Planting Initiative

15/11/2016 - Farmers Pack Distribution

Gift of the Givers has launched the 2016 Farmers Pack distribution program in the rural areas of Blantyre.

Winter Warmth in the Northern Region City of Mzuzu

The exercise was carried out in the Northern Region City of Mzuzu during which 500 families were supported with blankets with its precincts in the areas of Luwinga and Katoto. Ambulance and Shoe Handover

Gift of the Givers had the priviledge of donating 5 597 pairs of new shoes, 2 400 jars of Sibusiso Ready Food, as well as 1 Toyota Motor Vehicle Ambulance to the Department of Nutrition, HIV/AIDS in the Office of the President and Cabinet. All to the value of R1.5 million.

Bicycle Ambulances
