The Minister of Human Rights, Minister of Local Administration and the Deputy Governor of Alhodaidah Province in Yemen initiated a food parcel distribution with Gift of the Givers. An initial rollout of 120 parcels were delivered to IDP’s in Foqoum, Aden.

40 New Tents for IDP's

Gift of the Givers developed its 1st camp for IDPs in Taiz province, Yemen. In the 1st phase we installed 40 tents and distributed food, clothing and hygiene packs.

We will position a further 40 tent as IDPs continue to stream into the area and are having to sleep under the open sky.

Yemen Humanitarian Mission Feedback

The Taiz province in Yemen has been under siege for more than 8 months and the roads are terribly damaged. It seemed like a mammoth task to deliver the baby milk, food and porridge to the mothers and babies. It took a quick thinking team to load the aid onto livestock to get through the treacherous terrain for delivery to 140 families.

Sanaa Orphans

The majority of social service centers in Yemen face an acute shortage of various materials. This is reflected in their service, leaving people to cope in living conditions that are way past poor.
