Gift of the Givers Careline is a free telephone and face to face counseling service aimed at the sincere, selfless service of humanity in a non-judgmental, warm, caring manner irrespective of race, religion, colour, culture or social class upholding the confidentiality and privacy of every individual.

The employee assistance program (EAP) is a service contract between Gift of the Givers Careline and companies. Employees are provided with a variety of support programs. Although EAP is aimed mainly at work-related difficulties, the services rendered also helps employees deal with challenges that originate outside the workplace as this inevitably impacts on attendance and/or work performance. Womens month, especially Womens day which is celebrated on 9th August is a nationally declared holiday to honour our mothers, sisters and daughters who made a significant contribution to address the injustices of the time. Volunteer Counsellor Training

In order to be a volunteer counsellor at the Gift of the Givers Careline one has to undergo a period of training that covers a broad range of topics which deepen self understanding and knowledge of counseling principles and techniques.
